Social enterprise supporting indigenous business! Redrawn is excited to show off our new office furniture supplied by NULLA. Nulla is an indigenous business that provides high quality office furniture and equipment. The seat covers are assembled by aboriginal people and Nulla’s seat cover fabrics feature aboriginal designs.
After a year of slumming it on fold out tables and plastic chairs from Facebook Marketplace (#circulareconomy), the Redrawn team is excited to be levelling up our Adelaide office with the latest in ergonomic technology.
The seat cover fabric features the Japingka Butterfly Bush design by Walmajarri Aboriginal artist, Jimmy Pike (1940-2002). Taking flora and fauna inspiration unique to his Australian desert life, Jimmy Pike utilised whatever medium he needed to express his stories in his art.
Supporting aboriginal communities through economic participation provides not only great quality and functional products, but also provides an opportunity for us to connect with an enduring culture grounded in a respect for nature. We look forward to working with Ramone Close and the team at Nulla again as Redrawn continues to grow. Reach out to Nulla and see what other fabrics are available, it was very hard to choose!
